7:00 PM - "Destroy Me" - Jordan Livingston
The debut music video from indie / electro band Lilofee for their single "Destroy Me" was directed by filmmaker Jordan Livingston. The video features all six band members perming amidst eye-popping, post-apocolyptic dreamscapes. In this nuclear-devastated surrealistic nightmare, Lilofee serve as pop prophets, ringing in the end of civilization as the world around them burns. The video was conceived and co-produced by Livingston, along with producer Ehren Koepf. Principal Cinematography by Paul Nordin, with 2nd Unit Cinematography by Wyatt Garfield. Visual Effects and Animation by Tony Hudson, in extensive collaboration with the visual effects students at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA.

Alexandre Domingue, President of Post-Moderne will show commercial and music video work on Autodesk® Smoke® on Mac OS® X.
7:40pm - New Speed Tools in FCP 7 - Kevin Monahan
Final Cut Studio Guru and author Kevin Monahan returns to the SuperMeet stage to show off the new speed tools that are now a feature in Final Cut Pro 7.
7:55PM - Major Announcement on New Canon File-Based Codec and Upcoming File-Based Professional Camera Preview - Joe Bogacz
Joe Bogacz of Canon will present the first worldwide public unveiling of Canon's new MPEG-2 Full HD (4:2:2) file-based recording codec and workflow to the industry and will also introduce the first US public preview of Canon's upcoming file-based professional video camera at the San Francisco SuperMeet. This new Canon MPEG-2 Codec promises compatibility with industry-standard editing & processing software and will enable high-quality imaging and audio performance with up to 50 Mbps data recording and 4:2:2 color sampling.

Film and video makers love gadgets. We flock to any new technology that demonstrates the slightest potential to help us conceptualize, visualize and digitize our creative visions. So why have we neglected that touch-screen powerhouse already in our pocket? Filmmaker Taz Goldstein believes that the iPhone and iPod Touch can aid in nearly every aspect of film and video production. Taz's new website, HandHeldHollywood.com, presents a unified catalog of hand-held apps and accessories that could easily be expanded to include Apple's new Tablet and other mobile devices. Taz will show off 5 of the newest, most innovative must-have iApps for the digital content creator, along with a variety of hardware that's been developed to support this growing market.

9:00PM - AJA KiPro ProRes Recorder - Jon Thorn
Jon Thorn of AJA will show off the simplicity of a 10-bit workflow from lens to post using both the AJA KiPro and Io Express. The Ki Pro's ability to instantly create Apple ProRes files on-set has revolutionized post-production in addition to giving file-based life to a range of tape-based cameras. Io Express, a portable digital i/o with full 10-bit support can be used alongside Ki Pro recordings to monitor and edit files anywhere, at anytime. Jon will demo how the Ki Pro's included up/down/cross conversion brings unity to a production while providing the most efficient direct-to-edit capabilities in the industry.

Motion expert Mark Spencer will show us REAL honest to goodness 3D by showing us how to integrate Motion 4 and Cinema4D together into your editing workflow.
9:45PM - The Idea behind IDEO's Living Climate Change - Matt Silverman
After an inspirational talk at the TED conference on using "Design Thinking" to solve the world's biggest problems, IDEO CEO Tim Brown needed to tell the world about his latest initiative, LivingClimateChange.com. To craft the launch film, IDEO turned to San Francisco's Bonfire and sister company Phoenix Editorial. Bonfire's Creative Director Matt Silverman convinced IDEO's senior creative brain-trust to move away from a simple live-action video of Tim explaining his vision. Instead Bonfire created an eclectic motion graphics piece utilizing a combination of live action video, rotoscoping, hand-drawn illustration and animation, 3D animation, and hand-lettered typography.

NEW! Open Screen Theater - GET SEEN...
We've added an exciting component to the SuperMeet. You will be able to showcase your projects in what we are calling the "Open Screen Theater." Filmmakers and digital content creators wanting to get seen will have a a 10 minute chance to do so in an informal, collaborative setting in the Fisher Banquet. We want those who are shooting with HDSLRS, camcorders, iphones and anything that makes video to screen your content and interact. Just show up and sign up, get up and show off. It's first come, first serve in our "Open Screen Theater." Bring your content on a DVD or a QT movie on a drive. Sign-ups begin at 3:30PM.
