About SHANE HURLBUT, ASC
Shane Hurlbut A.S.C. is a world-renowned cinematographer who shoots multi-million dollar blockbuster films. As of 2012, Hurlbut has lensed seventeen feature films. He has always put technology second to storytelling. However, over the past few years, the Canon consumer DSLR cameras have helped define him as a true innovator. Hurlbut mastered this device by turning it into a cinema rig capable of producing digital film.
The prestigious American Society of Cinematographers recognized Hurlbut after his first feature film THE RAT PACK, directed by Rob Cohen in 1998. Over the course of the next decade, Hurlbut lensed seventeen additional features including TERMINATOR: SALVATION, and WE ARE MARSHALL, directed by McG, GREATEST STORY EVER PLAYED, directed by Bill Paxton, and DRUMLINE, directed by Charles Stone III. The recently released ACT OF VALOR, directed by Scott Waugh and Mike McCoy, details the covert operations of the US Navy SEALS. The film was shot primarily on the Canon 5D Mark II camera and is the first HDSLR full-length feature released by a major studio on February 24, 2012. Hurlbut also recently shot the soon to be released KIN, directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky and starring Eric Bana, Olivia Wylde, Charlie Hunnam, Sissy Spacek and Kris Kristofferson.
Shane brings a level of unparalleled passion and excitement to everything he does which becomes contagious for everyone around him. Unlike most of the production industry, Shane isn’t afraid to try new things. He has said that he prefers to try new techniques and projects that he hasn’t done before, in terms of his work. He constantly pushes boundaries and inspires the community of his peers, fans and readers to do the same.
Shane is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers and The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He was also among a select group of cinematographers recognized by Canon as an Explorer of Light and by the Tiffen Company as an ImageMaker. Shane has become a coveted public speaker at industry events and a recognized expert consultant for directors and producers. About EVAN SCHECTMAN
In 1998 Evan Schechtman founded Outpost Digital, a next generation media technology company, where he pioneered many new workflows for television and the web that have become industry standards today. Growing up on computers before their curve of popularity helped him understand how to use traditional tools in non-traditional ways, and to predict the evolution of new technology. This approach gained the attention of Apple Computer who, to this day continues to enlist Evan as a consultant on the integration and use of their own platforms. An early adopter of Final Cut Pro and digital video has earned Evan the reputation as a visionary and leader in this field. Evan has been a beta-tester of software and hardware from Apple, Sony, JVC and others since 1997, frequently penning training curriculums and other materials that dictate the use of these emerging technologies.
In 2001, Outpost was acquired by @radical.media. Today he is the Chief Technology Office (CTO) of @radical.media where he leads several international teams in developing systems used by radical and its clients on cutting edge initiatives.
As a technical lead on many challenging and groundbreaking projects such as “Seinfeld and Superman" for Amex, “Table of Free Voices" for Dropping Knowledge,” FULL FRONTAL for Steven Soderberg and many others, Evan has helped apply and demystify new technologies in each endeavor. Radical has enabled him to parlay their success in broadcast and technology to the new horizon of Transmedia, completing many cutting edge projects such as the Sting App, Gagosian App, and innovative web projects for VW, NASA, Michael Jackson and Johnny Cash amongst others.
Evan continues to speak on panels and events evangelizing the integration and learning of new technologies. It is his passion for technology that will always keep the work he informs or executes on the cutting edge.

About AL MOONEY

Al Mooney has extensive technical, sales and marketing experience in the media industry. As product manager for Adobe Premiere Pro software, Mooney is responsible for defining, delivering, and supporting the overall feature set and functionality. Earlier, Mooney was the UK senior business development manager for video and broadcast at Adobe, providing technical workflow consultation for top broadcast accounts in the U.K. In that role, he oversaw the redevelopment of Adobe’s video VAR channel, a network of expert resellers and service providers for the Media and Entertainment industry.
Mooney joined Adobe in 2009, after spending two years at Apple as the U.K. Pro Video business development manager. There he was responsible for the communication and go-to-market strategy of video solutions for the U.K. market, working with resellers and customers.
Before Apple, Mooney was European sales specialist at Digidesign, a division of Avid Technology. In this role, Mooney was responsible for the communication of high-end solutions into multiple territories, and managed technical communication between European specialists and engineers in the U.S. He also held earlier positions at Digidesign, including post-production product specialist, EMEA product specialist and marketing representative.
Mooney graduated with honors from the University of Surrey, Guildford, with a Bachelor of Music and Sound Recording (Tonmeister).

Morgan Spurlock is a New York based writer, director and producer. His first film, SUPER SIZE ME, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2004 and won him Best Directing honors. The film went on to win the inaugural Writers Guild of America best documentary screenplay award as well as garner an Academy Award nomination for best feature documentary. Since then he has directed, produced and distributed multiple film and TV projects, including the critically acclaimed FX television series, “30 Days,” and the films WHERE IN THE WORLD IS OSAMA BIN LADEN?, CONFESSIONS OF A SUPERHERO, CZECH DREAM, CHALK, THE FUTURE OF FOOD, WHAT WOULD JESUS BUY?, and FREAKONOMICS.
In 2010 Morgan was nominated for a primetime Emmy Award as well as a Writer’s Guild Award for The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special: In 3-D! On Ice!. His film THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER SOLD and its accompanying TED talk explore the world of product placement and advertising, while being completely funded by product placement and advertising. The film premiered at Sundance 2011 and was the first film to sell.
Morgan’s latest feature film, COMIC-CON EPISODE FOUR: A FAN'S HOPE, will be in theaters Spring 2012.
