Our first SuperMeet offering will be the Boston SuperMeetUp! to take place Friday, November 15, 2019, co-located with the Keyframes Conference in the Empire Ballroom at the Boston Courtyard Downtown Hotel at 275 Tremont Street.

This SuperMeetUp! is an inclusive event that promotes face-to-face time with New England’s diverse community of established production and post-production professionals, independent and student filmmakers/digital media creatives. It provides the opportunity to not only learn about the latest technology trends, but to network and share industry news and opportunities in a social setting that is both educational, exciting and fun!

Our focus is on the relationships and community – vital to fostering engaging digital storytelling and media content creation.

Roy Wagner, ASC is joining the Boston SuperMeetup! Roy will discuss his latest feature film “Stand!,” a movie adaptation of Juno-award-winning composer Danny Schur & Rick Chafe’s hit musical directed by Robert Adetuyi (Stomp the Yard, Bring It On) and starring Marshall Williams (Glee), Laura Slade Wiggins (Shameless), Gregg Henry (Guardians of the Galaxy), Hayley Sales (Deadpool 2) and talented newcomer Lisa Bell. Stand! was shot entirely on Blackmagic Design’s URSA Mini Pro and Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. Roy will share workflows and rigors of shooting a big budget musical!

Meet & Greet with Jody Eldred, Emmy Award Winning & Directors Guild of America Award Nominated Filmmaker!

Jody Eldred is an Emmy-winning and Directors Guild of America award-nominated Director, Director of Photography/Cameraman, Writer, Producer, and Editor. With 40 years in TV news and docs, working on feature films, TV dramas such as CBS’ “J.A.G.”, “NCIS”, “NCIS: Los Angeles”, The Tonight Show, Oprah, Good Morning America, World News Tonight, Nightline, 48 Hours, Dateline, PBS’ acclaimed “Frontline”, “Gunny-Time! with R. Lee Ermey”, and covering the Iraq War with Peter Jennings and Diane Sawyer, there’s very little he hasn’t seen and done.

Jody will discuss his work on “Stand!” alongside Roy Wagner, his artistic vision and the rigors of shooting a big budget musical.
